Yeah, they sort of gave me a bit of an idea yesterday that Paddy had a bit of a calf issue, so yeah, got through most of the captain's run yesterday and then sort of got the final word about lunchtime today that I was in, so yeah, it was pretty exciting.
I was sort of across most of the details, so in a way it was almost good, didn't have too much time to think about it, so it was just sort of, you know, get ready to play and get out there and get into it.
Yeah I think for me it all sunk in running out for the anthems and the haka and then after that I was just sort of into game mode and when I got out there I was just kind of getting stuck in the work.
Yeah I think we were trying to create a lot but probably our execution was a bit off at some times and I think our defence, just winning collisions being a bit more dominant there to try and buy us a bit more time to get set was probably the main kibble.
Yeah it's unreal.
bit of a misfortune for Paddy but it all sort of lined up for me to have it at home and like I said all my friends and family already had tickets so yeah couldn't have dreamt it up any better.

Did you have enough time to get family and friends tickets and get them into the stands?
Yeah, well, luckily they all had tickets and they were all coming anyway.
So, yeah, couldn't have brought it up and did it myself.
