I go through phases of like doing it two times a week and then I'll do that for a couple months.
Then maybe I'll go down to like once or twice a month.
So it's not something that you have to do.
always be like super diligent about because every time that you do it you are enhancing the results of those products no matter what and over time that is what helps actually drive and get those products to work harder so when you're talking about things that are going to help prevent that is something again that i have done for over 10 years on my own why i created my own roller and now why i feel like my skin has the results it does today because i'm already using really great products and now they're driving in even deeper and working that much harder
That's a little bit of a myth.
Collagen is more produced internally, right?
So I don't want anybody, and I would never make those claims that it's collagen producing.
Elastin is a little bit different.
So elastin can definitely build back over time and with the great products and things like dermarolling, you can enhance elastin or at least maintain and use things that are going to prevent it from breaking down.
Collagen, as far as microneedling is concerned, deep microneedling, they do make claims that it can produce collagen by causing injury.
I'm kind of anti-causing injury for collagen production.
I don't think that that is the ultimate route to take.
When you want to enhance and change your skin's texture, sure.
But like when you're trying to produce collagen, basically in a way people are thinking this is going to replace volume loss.
Let's be real.
Like this isn't going to replace fat that is kind of being dissolved over time as we age naturally.
That's just the natural progression of aging.
We're going to lose elasticity and loss of volume in our face.
But there are certain things you can start now that will help it slow down and prevent it from speeding up.
Right.
