you look at it and you think he's got the background but yet again the big question mark is Paul where's his fitness we'll find out will he come what did you make of it Jimmy when you heard that that would be a good signing I mean these type of players have got great experience played at a high level played for their country that's the kind of people Celtic should be looking to sign I know he's a little bit older than probably they would have liked if it was being perfect but
he's had a great career he still looks fit obviously going to be fresh because he hasn't had a team is he going to come in and play every week to start with probably not but could he do a job for Celtic yeah definitely he's only 32 of course Rangers tried this what three years ago with Aaron Ramsey of course and Arsenal legend and Welsh but it just didn't work out did it for whatever reason no but you could tell he was a good player it just it didn't quite work at the time but I know Rangers fans were certainly excited when they thought of him coming in
