And the reason we have to put it in law is that even if the courts stop the so-called anti-militarization slush fund, Trump has already just been taking money out of the general judgment fund in the Department of Justice.
which had always been used just to pay off court verdicts and true settlement agreements.
But they've just been taking money out of that and giving it to people like Michael Flynn, who got $1.25 million, Carter Page, who got $1.25 million, which seems to be the going rate for insurrectionists these days, although they gave $5 million to the family of Ashley Babbitt, even though
there's been no court verdict and two different federal investigations said that the police had acted completely appropriately in defending the vice president in the Congress from the rioters attack on the House chamber.
So they are going to keep just taking money out of this judgment fund and giving away to their people unless we stop it.
And that's why we've got to stop it.
The No-Cart Blanche Act forbids both any money going to or out of this anti-weaponization fund and also the judgment fund.

The judgment fund shall not be used to give any money to the president or his family or his businesses.
um and also no money shall go to any members of his cabinet or any of his political appointees if these guys slip and fall and they want to sue the government because they've got a real cause of action um you know there was some malpractice by a federal doctor or something go to court like everybody else and they can sue i've got no problem with that if donald trump thinks he can sue and win in court on all of his imaginary claims

But Donald Trump should not be able to use his power as the executive, which, of course, in court, he insists is absolute and total within the executive branch.
He should not be able to use that power in order to just give himself or his family members or his cabinet money.
And so.
Everybody knows at this point that the whole administration is a money-making operation.
It's a get-rich-quick scheme for Trump, his family, and his friends.
He's already made more than $2 billion since last year, which is more than all the salaries of every member of Congress put together, double.
It's more than every president has ever made in history, both their government salary and outside of office together.
Not even close.
