I was about to ask you, we've always been a small nation, but what was the difference from your generation getting to major tournaments on a consistent basis to not even being able to
even make a dent in the majority of the groups that we'll be in now.
I'm not going to make your head any bigger here, but listen, I know you were a world-class player.
I stopped that campaign, well, now that Steve Clarke's took over, but...
Listen, I think you're also a team-mate of Steve Clarke as well.
I worked with him at Kilmarnock.
A fantastic coach.
Knows his football inside out.
And I'm sure he'll do really, really well.
But as Graham says, we need to have the players at our disposal to pick.
He needs the players at his disposal to pick from that's going to get us to those major tournaments.
And hopefully, hopefully we get there this time.
But there's still a few tough games ahead if we're going to get there.
You've got Callum McGregor in that as well, who have done really, really well from Celtic and Ryan Christie in that further area.
But, you know, I think we as a country are experts at protecting people where you look at every other international set up and if you're good enough, you're in.
I don't understand why we want to hold our best players back.
Get them in, get them experience, even if we don't make it.
It gives them that little bit of experience, maybe for the next campaign.
That's one thing when you look at Graham, when you go back to, you know, when Graham was playing as well, if you are good enough,
It didn't really matter what age you were in the start of the XI, you played.
