Mac McClung, the three-time defending NBA dunk contest champion, will not participate in the event next month in L.A.
McClung told an interviewer over the weekend that he would not compete this year, and he added in an ex-post that he will release the dunks we came up with after the contest.
We will see the dunks that maybe he would have done if he was in there, but he's not going to do it.
I guess his father also said, yeah, Mac's taking this one off.
So I want to start with Trey here because Trey's had a lot of opinions in the past on Mac McClung in the dunk contest, up or down on Mac McClung, you know, sitting this one out here.
He's done his part.
Thank you to Mack McClung for coming in, being at least entertaining in the dunk contest, though.
I did laugh when he was saying that he hasn't prepped for a fourth contract for a fourth contest.
And also, it's kind of odd that he's not in it since this was his first year having a standard NBA contest.
It's so weird.
