And I just don't think there's a role for Russo in the 10 in this game, but I still think Slager's trust him more than anyone.

We have some world-class midfielders, but none of them are playing the role in that midfield.
Look, I think it kind of sometimes feels like, like, Mariano Caldente has played a lot of football in the recent two years in the pivot.
Like, it's fair enough that there's going to be a bit of a, like, return to playing back to the 10.
I think that's something that we need to be persevering with.
And I struggle with the way that we're playing that midfield three because it does feel like we're playing three eights.
And that really does affect the personnel that we have because sometimes players,
Teams can do that.
Chelsea under Emma Hayes didn't really, for a couple of their last seasons, didn't really have any natural midfielders in there that were a stock standard position.
They kind of played quite fluidly.
They still do that, albeit they have Keira Walsh, but she's still playing higher.
It works for a lot of teams.
It doesn't work for Arsenal because of our number nine, and our number nine is a ball worker.
She needs to have the service, and when we're having three players sitting deep, we struggle with that.
Our wingers as well are like a technical wingers.
I think if you're playing three eights and you have someone like Beth Mead, who's kind of coming into the 10 role, it works a bit better.
But I just worry about this area because I don't really see the personnel for it.
It feels like when you have a lot of good players and you just want them all on the pitch at the same time, and you don't really know what position they should be playing.
