Right.
So I would agree that the midfield is something that, an area where Dave Rooney's going to need to probably invent some stuff, probably get some more out of the players that have been there.
I'm not worried about Geordie, but it's the centre position.
Yeah.
And it's just about, again, though, it's like they're all good players.
It's just about the combination that exists there.
So I think there's a bit of water to go under the bridge there.
I mean, you mentioned Leicester, Whanganuku, whether he ends up there or not remains to be seen, given that he's now in the Fords.
Whether he plays in the Fords and ends up out there.
Does he go to the wing?
We're going to find out at some point.
And so, yeah, it's just kind of the same old story with the midfield.
It's like there's all the players there.
It's just who's going to be playing in those combinations and how they're going to get used.
Halfback, I guess the good news is that if Cam Roy guards fit, then the depth is something that isn't going to matter because he should be on the field for like 75 minutes.
at a time and also I think it's also because he's been so integral to the All Blacks ever since he started and he's we're so desperate to have a presence there that was the same as Aaron Smith as in like a guy who's just like okay you're the first guy on the team sheet at halfback that we haven't really seen a lot out of perhaps Hotham at test level
I would say he's playing pretty bloody well for the Crusaders this year.
I wouldn't be worried about that.
I'll tell you what he can do, though.
If he is on the field in either of those positions and there's a yellow card or a 20-minute red card, he can fill a gap.
