So I met Sam back in the fall of 2022.
I had started a parental rights organization with a group of impassioned parents here in Luzerne County, pushing back against the mask mandates, the business shutdowns.
We started traveling across the state, teaching parents how to stand up for their First Amendment rights and how to present themselves at school board meetings and basically any public meeting.
And one day I got a phone call from Sam Fadison, and I had never met him before.
And he asked me if I would come up and talk about our organization and what we were doing in Luzerne County to teach students.

And he asked me to speak at this church up in Clark Summit in the middle of winter.
It's about an hour, maybe an hour and 10 minutes from my house.
And I said, I'd be honored to do that.
And I went up and spoke in front of a group of maybe 75 to 80 people that were at the church that day.
And we became fast friends from that point moving forward.
Well, Sam, that was really his mission here in the grassroots movement.
There were many grassroots organizations all across Pennsylvania.
And Sam started Unite PA to unite them all together so we're all having the same type of message.
We were really fully focused on school boards.
I was a small business owner at the time.
I had absolutely no...
ambition to run for any type of politics.
And this was not on my bingo card, let's put it that way.
In my life, I was happy.
