I said to Sam, I said, I said, my daughter's young and my my son is young at the time.

Like my son was still in high school.

My daughter was was very young.

And he said, Jamie, if not you, then who?

Who do we have here that can do what you're doing and get momentum behind them to run a race against a rhino Republican?

And I ended up, I wouldn't say he talked me into it, but he was very influential in getting me to run.

And after my race, I ended up beating a Rhino incumbent by four votes for the state house race.
