Uh, it's funny because I've talked uh recently I've made friends um for a televis due to a television show I was um involved in with quite a few other elite athletes and people who are in the spotlight.
And I certainly think it's not uncommon that we, you know and look, to be honest with you, it's it's human nature too.
I'm drawn to successful people.

Even now in medicine, I'm a very junior person and there's a couple of very key role models that I absolutely love hanging around because of what they've achieved in their medical career.
So I think naturally humans like to, you know, hang around success.
The difficulty is, I think, is that sometimes for people who are
very successful, it comes with a certain personality type, which is not always
easy to live with.
So, you know, you do end up collecting a lot of friends that love the idea of being around you but are not necessarily the right types of personality in terms of supporting you to be successful or accepting that you're never around because you are trying to do something that requires a lot of timing.
And I certainly had a lot of that in in relationships up until now.
I'm, you know, I'm recently married and I'm very lucky to have a wonderful husband.
But it was definitely a tough thing in life where you just second guess why someone might be with you.
And certainly not in the in the last few years because I'm, you know, I'm dropping out of of public attention now as I'm getting older.
But when you're younger, it might be little things like, you know, you get lots of access to
clubs and things which I don't even like doing, but you know, I guess as a y well known person when you're younger there are a lot of
extracurricular stuff that gets given to you, which other people would love to be a part of.
And so it just became hard to understand who really liked you for your quirky weird behavior, which is me, or they liked you because of the, you know, the accolades you came with.
And
Um, look I've it's funny now being in medicine and uh I wrote that book before I finished medicine and I've seen
