I've met him.
He used to really like and admire Ted, my ex-husband Ted Turner.
And I feel because I spent a decade with Ted Turner, I understand Trump a little bit because they have certain things in common, early trauma at the hands of the father, etc.
And in my mind, sometimes when I lie in bed, I have conversations with him.

I feel like I understand something because I lived with Ted Turner for 10 years.
You have things in common.

I would try to touch his heart.
When he first got elected in 2017, I wanted to go and meet with him with a bunch of really brilliant, sexy women and kneel at his feet.
Because I thought, well, this would work with Ted.
And tell him he could be a global hero if he saved the planet.
And Pamela Anderson was willing to go with me.
And then Ivanka and Jared, it didn't happen.
There was no help getting there.
It's important to understand what he does and what he says, the behavior, is the language of the traumatized.
And you have to see through it.
You can hate the behavior, but you have to see through it to the traumatized person and not hate them.
Because if you hate them, then it brings you down.
