That marriage didn't last.
Diane Aliverdian then hooked up with a man that was called David Rossi.
He was an Inklebert-Humbertick impersonator.
And he went on the cruises and he was successful in his career.
He fell in love with her, came off the cruises.
They were like a quintet.
The three kids, Nicholas Rossi with his siblings, two siblings, and David Rossi as a stepfather and his mother.
But that marriage didn't last either.
Like, she wasn't coping with the kids.
He was fed up doing all what he had to do with the children.
And then in the end, Nicholas and his two siblings were put into care, in the care of DCYF, the Department of Children, Youth and Families, and that was in Rhode Island.
And there he alleged he was abused,
But sexually, physically, mentally, he ended up taking out a lawsuit against him.
Whether or not he was abused, who knows?
I mean, I've heard different stories that he was actually the abuser in the years I've been working at this.
He was the abuser.
He wasn't the one being abused.
Anyway, as a result of all of that, he ended up becoming a very high profile child welfare reform advocate.
He was big.
He was well known in the statehouse in Providence in Rhode Island.
