I mean, Nicholas Rossi was clever, but then he was very stupid in other ways.

He was able to see from his iCloud account and his bank transactions that he was actually in the UK.

And he was originally sort of down Bristol way.

And then lo and behold, they were on to him, the FBI and all the rest.

And they were able to establish that he was in Glasgow, Glasgow.

And that's when they made their move to arrest him.

So basically, the FBI turn up on the doorstep of Miranda, his wife, at their flat in the Woodlands area of Glasgow.

And this is about September 2021.

Nicholas Rossi at this stage had been admitted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, suffering very badly from COVID.

So then the police go to the hospital and they realise that he's in a very bad way and they're not in a position to arrest him.

He's on life support machines, he's in intensive care.

But he does come out of that.

There's an Interpol red notice.

I mean, it doesn't get much bigger than that.

And the staff at the hospital realized that this is the man, Nicholas Rossi.

But at this stage, he's in a coma.

He is in a coma.

So when they're able to identify the tattoos on his arms, that was one of the way they knew it was him.

And also his picture.

I mean, they had lots and lots of mug shots that were sent on this Interpol red notice.
