The Almeida fire in southwestern Oregon destroyed around 2,500 homes on September 8, 2020.
Most of them were manufactured, and many of the people displaced were older or Spanish speakers.
Mary Martin used to live in a mobile home park that burned to the ground.
Earlier this year, she finally got a state grant and purchased her own manufactured home.
