I guess it wasn't a coincidence that I fell in love with like a music guy.
My dad says it all the time, you're always meant to end up with someone in music because I grew up loving music and singing and stuff.
Um and then yeah, that I had no intention of singing on his songs, but he needed a placeholder vocal so that then he could go and find another vocalist.
At least that's what he told me.
So he would trick me into singing on the tracks and I remember we were living in Amsterdam at the time and I had to kick him out of the house because I was so embarrassed I didn't want to sing in front of him.
Um but we did that and then he just sent it to labels and got the track signed without me knowing.
Yeah, absolutely wild.
I mean that that's pretty crazy.
I have one real vivid memory of a state of trance in Sydney.
Marlowe played Haunted, which is probably one of the biggest ones that we've done together.
Um and before that, you know, it had been released for a while and it was a solid track, was doing good.
But until that moment like you know, it didn't it didn't reach the heights that it's got now.
But
He played it and the entire twenty thousand person crowd sang along.
And I was just like, what is happening?
This is this is this is crazy.
My brain can't even process this right now.
