In Afghanistan, more than 70 people are dead, dozens injured, after heavy rain and storms across the country triggered lightning, flooding, and landslides over the past week and a half.
More rain is forecast in the coming days, and officials are warning people to stay away from riverbanks.
Three and a half years after bison were reintroduced into Britain, conservationists say the herd is already having an impact on the woodlands where they roam.
Vicki Barker has more from London.
In college basketball tonight, in men's Final Four play, UConn takes on Illinois, and then Michigan plays Arizona.
The winners of each game will meet in the finals on Monday.
Meanwhile, for the women, South Carolina plays UCLA for the NCAA title, both winning their semifinal matches last night.
The women's final takes place tomorrow afternoon.

Fears of a global energy crisis are growing as the U.S.-Israeli war in Iran continues.
Since the war started more than two weeks ago, Tehran has effectively stopped shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and that has dramatically increased the price of oil.
President Trump says he's asked roughly a half-dozen other countries to
to send warships to reopen the strait to oil traffic.
So far, none have committed, and others say it's not their war.
But despite his repeated requests today, he says the U.S.
doesn't need them.
Iran's foreign minister says the strait is open to all ships except U.S.
and Israeli vessels.
