The flies get to it and they start laying eggs in it.
You end up with maggots in the velvet and it can just be a mess.
I mean, both, both the ones I shot were hard horn.
So yeah, they were just like, they were in the process.

Anyway.
Um, I think the bigger ones had,
Maybe do it a little bit earlier because it seemed like the smaller, younger bulls had more velvet.
Pretty cool.
We, again, I'm not going to try to hide it.
We have five people there.
And so if it's only two of you, you might be like, eh, let's not shoot one because we still got to deal with this first animal.
Yeah.
And then going to have to, you know, pack the other one out.
But with five people, it's like pretty easy to, you know, to pack out two caribou.
They're not huge animals.
Yeah.
You know?
I think very similar to a mule deer.
