And then CBS refused to air it.
So then CBS and sort of their affiliates refused to air it.
So then that sort of continued this narrative that everyone's had but wasn't confirmed that that part of the reason why they kicked him off was because they don't agree with him and they don't like the political views that he'd been taking.
So anyways, the Stephen Colbert thing continues to be like a huge topic and I think also is spilling over into the conversations around what's going to follow the era of late night television.
And I don't just say this because I'm biased, but a lot of people think it's podcasting.
Well, yeah, all the late night hosts came together and really supported Stephen.
And I do want to say the belief is that Jimmy Kimmel is probably not going to be renewing his contract.
Or I should say that the belief is that ABC may not be renewing his contract.
So not so much that they're kicking him out, but they're just going to like agree to part ways in a year's time.
And everyone thinks that he's already structuring a departure plan and that will include a podcast that will be similar to what you're seeing Conan O'Brien do, what you're seeing everybody else do.
Because he owns his own guest booking system, much like Alex Cooper.
He has his whole own production thing.
So these hosts now, you know, they can retain a lot of their staff and their staff are important to them.
And they can kind of go on their merry way and do things how they want and have these long form conversations thanks to podcasting.
And I think you're going to be seeing a lot more of that.
I just feel like it's a lot of base level, you know, interactions and emotions that are leading the charge right now.
