How do we feel about holding major events, weddings being first and foremost on that list, on holidays?

And because it's wedding season and wedding season runs alongside summer long weekend season, there's always this debate about is it rude to have your wedding on a long weekend?

And so some genius group that wanted to provide us with stuff to talk about and podcasting.

Decided to rank the rudest days to get married.

So Victoria Day was considered borderline rude.

So it was at the bottom.

Then Labor Day.

How dare you compete with the queen?

How dare you?

Yeah.

So then there's Labor Day, which is considered pretty rude.

September.

Yeah, Canada Day, super rude.

We're getting into July 1st territory.

Thanksgiving is almost the rudest.

And then Christmas, of course, it would be the absolute rudest.

A Christmas wedding would be kind of unheard of.

Yeah.

So the reason why I think people believe that it's rude is because it is presupposed that you would have plans that weekend.

So say you have a cottage or you're trying to travel or if your kids are out of school for the summer, that would encompass a vacation.
