It's always going to be the last thing you want to do when you get laid off.
Yeah, that's a really good point.
And like you said, I think sometimes losing your job can feel like you're losing a part of yourself.
I think so many of us closely tie our work to our identity.
How do you talk with your clients about how to navigate that kind of loss?
Yeah, that's so important.
That's a realization I've had in my own life recently.
So just to sum this conversation up, if there's like one piece of advice that you'd give to someone who is feeling nervous about the prospect of losing their job or just want to make themselves feel, you know, be more valuable in the workplace, what would you tell them?
After talking with Melody, I feel like I got a better sense of how we can move through the workplace more thoughtfully to better position ourselves for what might be ahead.
