Um, obviously moving, uh, Pedersen out, you need to bring in some, some veteran D's to play with the young guys. matched

They brought in two guys, two guys that, um, again, aren't the most fleet footed guys, but guys that will stand up and protect, uh, the team. matched

Um, so, so I really liked that aspect that, that you added some snarls, uh, matched

a little bit of pushback so none of the young guys get taken advantage of. matched

And if they do, well, then there's somebody there to step up and answer the bell for them. matched

It's definitely looking to the future. matched

Again, would I have liked this pick to have been in 27, 28 or 29? matched

Hopefully, like I said, they're going to bring in more young players throughout the next couple of years here. matched

And then all of a sudden you're going to stand four years from now and you have two first round draft picks and you can start playing around with them at that point. matched

One of the things Vancouver has never had while I've been around here is opportunity and options in those aspects. matched

We were always trading away second, third round picks, first rounders trying to get over the hump where now you can stack up, you can load up and you can see what that can do for your team. matched
