Anthropic, the firm behind the AI model Claude, is facing potential backlash from the Pentagon following questions about the use of its technology during the raid to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro last month.

A Pentagon spokesman says the relationship is being reviewed because the nation requires partners to be willing to help warfighters in any fight.
