We don't need to worry about what they might jump up to because it's not just the one increase that people worry about.
if we get a number of them.
So it's going to be very interesting to see how this plays out because I think it's going to take a bit of the craziness out of some of the buyers that are just offering without any reservation.
They might miss out on a few properties and then they go in guns blazing at the moment into the next offer that they get involved in.
But I think
this is going to give a few pause for thought and initially the realisation is going to be, all right, maybe we're not seeing any further decreases where we might be seeing increases and can we afford what we're looking to buy?
I think what it'll do more so, and we've seen people adapt already to higher prices by moving into other property types and lower price points and making some trade-offs and concessions on location and maybe not going for the house but going for the villa in the better located spot.
I don't think it's going to take us out of these sort of boom seller's market conditions.
I think it's more just going to adjust, you know, what people are looking for, mean that some people will have to trade off.
And we've got the bank of mum and dad in the background, let's not forget.
So that has really been propping things up and continuing to help that first home buyer generation get into the market.
And I wouldn't be surprised if they'll be continuing to help ongoingly just to give them a leg up and a shot at getting in.
