Um, and then just last but not least, uh, just so I touched upon most things in the Eloquent, um, I really wonder if there's any connection to her recent pregnancy, but I'm, I'm struggling to make it fit, which probably means it's unrelated.
Um, the only thing I would say is if this patient was currently pregnant, um, I actually would add, um,
ampicillin for listeria coverage.
And what the qualifications for that would be for the patient is either currently pregnant, immunocompromised significantly due to a medical condition, or if they're older than 50 years of age.
or if they tell you they've been eating unpasteurized milk or cheese.
But I don't see any of that.
And I don't think, you know, some women after postpartum are still immunocompromised for a few months, but I think she's outside this window.
So I don't think it's relevant to this case at this present time.

I have two initial comments.

So actually, we got some good news in this aliquot.
Her dramatic improvement really...
supports a theory of a rapidly reversible component, whether it's from bacterial meningoencephalitis, cerebral edema, elevated intracranial pressure, or possibly even an unwitnessed seizure, although in this situation, probably less likely.
