Yeah, so I was in New Orleans.

And while her life was spinning out of control here in our community, I was spinning out of control down there.

And I had a massive altercation.

I was seeing a woman who was married and she was lying about that.

I was lying about how old I was.

Everybody thought I was 21 because that's what I told them.

But I was actually only 18.

And so it just everything was built on lies.

And finally, one day, her husband tried to separate my head from the rest of my body.

And and out of that, out of my survival of this major altercation, I thought I just sat there.

I was in New Orleans.

I was actually in Kenner, which is outside.

And I just sat there on that curb and thought, you know, if I stay here, I'm going to die.

Because it provided me a moment.

And it's just like a lot of things where you have an experience where you almost die.

You do some soul searching.

And that's what I did that day.

And a police officer sat down next to me and was so kind.

Everybody else was not kind, but he was.

and help me through that moment.
