And you've got all these forces lined up against him.

At the end of the day, he hits the home run.

He wins the game.

The pop guy gets the team.

And he winds up just back throwing a baseball out in the field.

But I love about the story is just what we're talking about here.

It's all the things that the evil one throws at you and the temptations, the trials, the things that go on in your life.

At the end of it, there's a purity of who God is and what he's called us to be.

And that's kind of this picture, you know, that you have to get back to that.

Sometimes you lose your way and then you have to come back.

Yeah.

I wanted to say this.

I left a cliffhanger a couple of podcasts ago about the meek inheriting the earth.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Remember that?

Well, I got that because when I read James 1, 9 through 11, it says, "...the brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position."

But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position because he will pass away like a wild flower.

For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant.

Its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed.

You're like, oh, what kind of imagery is this?
