Well, one of the things that it didn't impress me in the moment of it, but it did much later, was that then the next day she did go forward.
She didn't run.
I mean, I think at this point where she had been and what she had done and where we were, I would have ran.
Because I did run away when I was young.
But she didn't.
She marched right down there without any prep work for anybody else.
And finally just said, here's who I am and handed him a letter and said, here it is.
And for her, I think that became a turning point now that you have to face the consequences of everything.
And she did.
And it was hard.
It was a really hard time for all of us.
But I think looking back now, if she hadn't done that, she hadn't had the courage to just go ahead and finally go public who she was.
too jace uh jace did a sermon a few maybe months later a year later i don't remember i don't know how long the time kind of but and uh in in his because we were you know i don't know why you're even up jace but it was a sunday night i'll never forget it and you talked about three women that you know you respected and one was mom one was missy and then the third was lisa and
Lisa and I were just in tears sitting there.
We didn't know you were going to do that.
But, I mean, to me it was like that was like the final hurdle for like the whole family.
Lisa, everybody recognizes she's a new person.
So I'll never forget that.
And we had been trained to not trust women.
