Well, when he says you're ignorant, it's that word deceived.
Deceived.
I don't know why they're translating that ignorant.
He's basically saying you've been deceived about the power of God and what the scriptures say.
Well, and then even the asking of the question, what was their purpose?
It was just to trip him up.
But think about all the people listening there.
It gave them a bunch of crazy ideas too, which is what deceit does.
It works its way through that, which is, which is powerful.
I just thought it was a powerful way to kind of get his thinking and why, you know, you just see that one little word.
But boy, did it really packed a punch.
He's like, look, you've been born again.
You have the creative force in you.
And it's the word of truth living and active in your being.
Don't be deceived.
Yeah.
No, it's really, it's a great reset to get us into this next section of Scripture because he's already dealt with the two things that will trip us up.
And one is trials, which makes people think that we can't endure or persevere.
And the second one is temptation and deceit, which is he's setting us up for what he's about to go into.
Well, I think that was his whole point.
