All these topics are fine, but I had been in them for years and then I saw dragons.

And I thought, that's different.

I'll give that a crack.

And I'd already done a lot of mythology.

But honestly, it's when I started to study them, I just thought, why are they so much more than I thought they were?

Why are they so layered in their meaning?

Why are they so prolific in world cultures and also throughout history?

And they sort of became like this obsession.

I was like, hang on a minute.

I need to know why.

Why?

But also from a global question, because we all know that like dragons come from so many cultures.

And I just thought mythology does that.

But like in this particular way with dragons, it's just something else.

It's its own entity.

And I just thought there's something in that.

A bit like how obsessed with sex you are.

I just got obsessed with dragons.
