But when you look at Eastern dragons, it's a different situation.
They're like more connected to like luck and prosperity and like rivers and natural spaces like that.
So, you know, like they're not always that.
And that's what makes them, I think, actually kind of hard to define.
And part of that, I think the study should be about...
what we want to do with definitions of dragons.
So I think that's an open question.
I think it's still going on, really.

I love it.
It's cool.
The stories behind it are brilliant.
It's a real awesome part of our cultural heritage, but then we're missing out on, like I said, all this fluidity and the nuance and the breadth of dragon myth.
And that's what I was trying to change with this book.
Because you can buy quite a lot of books around dragons in the West, and then you separately can buy dragons on books in the East.
but it's not you don't really find many that bring them together so yeah i mean i don't think it's a bad thing i mean i love game of thrones and fantasy and all this stuff like i don't love fantasy but i do love i do quite like game of thrones but that's because i got forced to watch it by my husband i resisted for years he was well into it and then i started watching i thought oh god no but i like it but game of thrones is good
