Well, there's also a lot of pressure right now on the Whitecaps to simply state what they need to stay in Vancouver.

Until they do that, it'll be hard not to wonder if staying in Vancouver was ever in the cards at all.

Perhaps this ownership group, people will say, just wants to cash out at the highest price they can get

even if it means moving them.

Now, EB told reporters before his meeting with Don Garber, he said, we want the Whitecaps to stay.

So the goal is to get that information from MLS, from the Whitecaps.
