I look at this roster and I just think emergency measures must be deployed if this team's going to catch up and become relatively competitive.

Have like basic competitive integrity in a reasonable time frame, like four or five years.

It might be that long before this team's interesting to watch from a results perspective again.

And so how do you fix that?

It's going to need to include them considering things like trading Philip Ronick, like trading their good players and, you know, continuing to dismantle this club, trading popular guys like a player is doing well.

The right calls almost always, unless they're 21, going to be to trade them.

the moment that they have value again, like that, that's sort of what this club needs to do for the next several years.

So, you know, for some guys who have cachet in the market, but are also coming in with some measure of skepticism, right.

In RJ's case, because he's been part of an organization for 13 years that has underperformed fair or not.

Right.

That's part of sort of how fans are reacting to him.

And then the twins franchise icons, right.

You know, they're going to need to make some unpopular decisions.

They're going to need to be ruthless in evaluating their own colleagues, right?

And that's what this is going to take to turn this around.

It's going to be fascinating to watch them navigate it.

With Anaheim, it was eight years, but it was five under Verbeek, right?
