what Chicago has done where like your plan is to be bad for a period of time and then magically hope that you're good again.

And what Montreal and Anaheim under Verbeek have done where you're bad, but in a way where you're constantly netting additional value.

And that to me is the test, like bad with no purpose.

You might get good eventually, like Buffalo did after forever, like Chicago might hopefully if they nail this fourth overall pick.

But that's not the standard, right?

Like the plan can't just be to be bad.

There needs to be more substance to it.

And I'm sure Ryan Johnson has that plan.
