bending the knee and buckling to Donald Trump and people see it and they're pissed about it and they should be pissed about it.
So they're wanting and expecting something different and we have to provide that.
We have to meet people where they are and what they're demanding.
That's an important distinction.
I'm glad you mentioned it.
The difference between the journalists and those who are out there trying to do the work and up against tremendous pressures and kind of the corporate hierarchy and structure who, you know, largely are failing us, right?
This is another point I make is people are very
very upset and have seen this constant flow of major law firms entering into agreements with the administration, universities cowing, big companies buckling.
What I point out is when you're in a pivotal moment in a society, that almost always happens.
It's almost never the elites and the higher ups that show courage and pushback.
They're almost always buckling and cowing, as I say.
Right.
That's what history shows.
The change and the resistance.
comes from the bottom up.
It comes from everybody else, right?
The folks who actually have the most to lose are the ones who are standing up and fighting back.
So the courage is coming from people at No Kings protests.
It's coming from Little League coaches who have put themselves in between their kids and ICE agents.
It's coming from journalists like you and others.
