But, no, bro, since eight years old, I've been taught how to play the game the right way, and I've seen that play out over and over again with winning baseball.
And we won the Roberto Clemente World Series as the, like, McDonough Dodgers, 7 and 18.
Then we went to, like, travel ball at 9 years old, played in all these kind of tournaments, Super Series, AAU, and so on.
Then you talk about getting to East Cobb, winning a state championship.
He was the best player ever he went.
Like sophomore year.
First round.
That's what happens with first rounders.
But it was all those things for me came from loving practice, loving the game.
And then when I got to the game, I was like, oh, this is, you know, we've already been over this.
Like now just go play.
Just go have fun.
Like you're always playing to win.
I've been on so many teams in the big leagues where every game accounted for something.
And the first time, I remember the first time I stepped on the field in 2014 with Atlanta Braves, it was like the last week and a half of the season that we weren't playing for anything.
