it didn't seem like it as a as a teammate but you never know what's going on inside someone could be paddling like a duck you know what i mean so because it never seemed that you were ever selfish but it's hard not to be selfish when you're not hitting your own expectations i think it taught me a lot about needing to be more selfish at times and then like getting into again like third organization
In my young career, Atlanta has a different type of structure.
St.
Louis has a different type of structure.
But the culture here was what it needed to be to manage the day games, to manage the nationally televised games, to manage how much we get together and how much we do, how you're going to function.
So I had to learn all that stuff.
and then put it together.
But as far as enjoying it, no, this is what I asked for.
And, like, that's one thing that I'm always going to do.
Like, I'm not going to fucking, like, make an excuse, not going to regret anything.
Like, bro, I wanted to win a World Series.
