I would say there aren't things now that I'm like, I want to get to this place or I want to have this tangible item.

It's more of becoming versions of myself.

And God is like,

I want that version of yourself for you as well.

But before you get there, this version of you has to die.

And the process of getting there is being held up by me.

So it's not necessarily God waiting on me or it's not me waiting on God.

It's God waiting on me.

It's like, OK, Jason, I know where you want to go.

I really do appreciate that.

I think it comes from, you know, we talked a little bit about my upbringing and the role models that I had around me.

And they weren't people that you would tell your child to look up to.

But as I got older, retrospect, I looked at those people and I was like, God used them as a blessing in my life.

Most people would see that and be like, man, this is bad.

But sometimes God is just putting people in your life to show you what not to be like.

And it's up to you to have that discernment to know where you need to put someone, you know?

So that's how I start to look at things as this isn't bad.

This is just an opportunity for me to see life differently, you know?
