So most people read that and it's just, oh, these are just people who are struggling and they're disabled.
But the truth is those were the only people that were there.
It was nobody that was that was healed and in able condition that was around them.
So that means that their community was formed around brokenness.
And if you are in a community that is built around brokenness, that isn't real community.
That's just people struggling with the same sin or struggling with the same problem.
So that story in itself causes me to ask a lot of times, how many people
Am I calling my friend that really aren't my friend?
They're just my cellmates.
And if we remove the chain that this sin is attached to, we wouldn't even be near each other anymore.
You know, that's what that story makes me reflect on.
It was being in deep situations and calling for help, you know, not being afraid to say I need help in this situation and I need help.
With this particular thing, because a lot of times we don't want to expose ourselves to our to or expose ourselves and let others know what we're struggling with.
But when you find yourself in a place where I need help, you really don't care where it comes from.
That's like the story of the Good Samaritan.
The Samaritans and the Jews did not get along.
But when you are in a place of like, I need someone to help me, you really don't care who shows up.
That's when you find the people who are there for you instead of what you have.
That's how I found my community.
