And I don't want the Cubs to ever lose their aggressiveness.
I like that they put pressure on defenses.
I like they they create traffic.
That's what you want to do as an offense as a whole, always.
That being said, in that kind of situation, I problem I did have is
You are the most important part right there.
You cannot run into an out no matter what.
And people are like, Well, he beat the throne.
He was safe.
It's not a play at first base where as long as you beat the throw and touch the bag first, you're safe.
You're not safe until the play's dead and you're still standing on that bag.
And if you can't get to third base without that slide and staying on the bag, you're not safe.
So I think it's a little bit of a say a learning lesson where especially if that ball's coming from left center,
Uh he knows that the throw is gonna be to the right side of third base.
That's where the third baseman's gonna catch the ball.
He should already be starting his slide to the left side of the bag.
