And then at receiver with Mike and Chris and J Mac going down and then Bucky being out seven weeks, it threw a lot of things off.
And then defensively, um, you know, we need a lot of help there.
And we know where our inconsistencies are.
Uh we have some very good players over on that side of the ball, but you know, we were also hit with
injuries there with one of our better pass rushers, uh Kalajik Cancy missing most of the year and then killer.
We had a promising young rookie that we were gonna rely on that uh went down at training camp.
So a lot of things got thrown off, but it was disappointing once again not hiding behind those injuries.
But you know just the way we started and the way we ended were two different things.
Yeah, and I always hate to use the word superstar.
I don't want to put too much pressure on the kid, but he's got potential.
Let's just say he's got potential.
He's got a lot of potential.
Yeah.
So we basically get we had another undrafted rookie, JJ Roberts, safety, and he can play nickel that uh we were very, very excited about from Marshall.
Um that uh went down in camp too when we were at
Pittsburgh practicing against the Steelers.
Um so we kind of feel like we have two bonus draft picks this year coming back.
So we're excited about that.
I mean we spend a lot of money trying to do it.
And you know, whether it's the heat, whether it's uh, you know, the amount of reps players are getting, um, whether, you know, we we have a sports science department that that puts a lot of time and like I said, a lot of resources into this.
