I talked to both of them this morning.
I mean, they're both very happy, encouraged by the union's response to this.
I haven't been on Twitter a ton today.
I don't know if they've named a successor to Tony Clark, but I would expect that to happen today or tomorrow.
It's not great.
That being said, Tony Clark was not the lead negotiator in the last CBA.
Bruce Meyer was.
So, you know, they still have one of the prominent voices there.
It's going to be an in-house replacement.
I don't expect the union to change things all that much.
I think I had somebody ducking, trying to get out of the screen.
But no, it's interesting.
They're encouraged by it, but I think where it breaks down and where there's a consistent fear across this thing, and I know this from talking to Henry Davis this morning, there hasn't been a lot of negotiation.
They're kind of waiting until the last minute, and they don't love it.
The players feel like this is strategic, and they know that MLB is going to come at them with a cap and a floor.

I have a tough time seeing that conversation going well.
I wish I felt differently.
I mean, personally, I wish that was a thing.
