And I was like, whoa.

Yeah, maybe Larry doesn't hate God.

Maybe he's just really busy.

And I just began to view everything slightly differently.

So I just ended up leaving there, moved down to London and started my life in sales.

And I never truly stopped believing.

I just got to a point where I realized there was a bunch of things in there I just couldn't believe.

And the biggest one being, is the Bible really the word of God?

Like, is it literally word for word?

Everything in it is completely true.

And I just thought that's an impossible thing to argue for.

I think what you can argue for is it's a beautiful book with some amazing things, some pretty weird stuff as well.

And it's important, but I don't think it's everything and should be the fundamental kind of building block of how you see the world.

And that's kind of where I ended up.

So yeah, it's a short condensed version of the story.

Yeah, I think there's a whole story here which isn't told very well.

And I think we have this kind of false dichotomy of people will say if the Nazis were building this advanced stuff, surely they would have used it in the war and we would have seen it.

And then on the other end, they say they developed so much technology, they flew to space and went interplanetary.

But there's a middle ground.

And one of the best people to help with that actually is Jacques Vallee, who does a wonderful, he's an incredible book, Messengers of Deception.
