What a weekend that was, huh?

yeah uh maybe more at one point i think we had a five-way tie or we could have had a five-way tie and the twists and turns are unbelievable and uh we at one point going into the weekend we're back where i had a six-shot lead i thought okay maybe this is gonna be a coronation maybe the weekend won't have that much trouble but when rory mcelroy is involved it never gets boring uh i go back to the fourth hole

He's three putts for double bogey from about 10 feet.

You're like, it's not his day.

He's not going to do it again.

And then on 12, he has this great shot on a hole that nobody has a great shot on.

And he makes birdies.

Okay, it's going to be Rory.

And then on 18, he pushes one way right off the tee.

You're like, I don't know, maybe it's not his day.

What's going to happen?

And he winds up making bogey and winning.

But it was never boring, always interesting, always exciting when Rory McIlroy is involved.

He was, and he was a little coy about it.

Sort of the line, and maybe it got a good kick and went a little further right and closer to the hole that he had intended, but he was certainly happy to be inside 10 feet, make a birdie on that one.
