There are a few things that happened, i.e., the the the guy that was uh in South Australia.
There were a couple of books that came out at the same time talking about what had happened and and those sorts of things.
There was a Royal Commission into undercover work.
It was decided that look, you know, we have to probably understand that there's a psychological impact.
And so they said, Yeah, two years is about right.
The first day back I had a car crash, two dead bodies and it was a different sort of adrenaline rush, if that makes sense.
There was, you know, you get to drive a car fast with lights and sirens.
Nothing beats that.
It's a it's an adrenaline rush.
Buying drugs from someone is a different adrenaline rush.
It probably was.
I mean, so I I was sworn in in the beginning of December ninety one and got sent to Cairns.
The first Christmas that I was there, there was a triple murder suicide.
Now I didn't go, but
The police who went or came to the Christmas party at various stages and you get uh a transferred trauma because of that.
So that's welcome to policing, yeah.
That's right.
So when you build that up and then you throw into the fact that I'm pretending to be someone else who I enjoy being.
And I'm not saying I didn't enjoy being Jason, but I enjoy being this other person because they had no responsibilities.
Uh now that's probably two things.
