I'm surprised.
I'm really surprised by this.
I didn't think he would be in the conversation at all.
And now you're heading to Vegas, it sounds like.
I'm just really surprised.
And I'd be very interested to be in some of the group chats that the Oilers players have zipping around on their iPhone 27s or wherever you're at now.
He hasn't had much success in the last decade plus, right?
When's the last time that he had a deep push with a team?
Now, some of that, I guess, could be the makeup of that team or the roles, the teams he took on, trying to get them up and running, such as with the Leafs there.

I honestly, I almost said I lost the words because you're looking at it, you know, and it's a real shock.
It's a real shock.
And I have to kind of digest it and think about the way it looks.
And I think of the players first.
What do they think?
You know, his technique, it feels like, from what I hear from, you know, players I've played from, it's very direct and very, you know, at times confrontational that this is how we play.
This is how we do it.
And it feels like when you look at some of the names the owners have been talking to or thinking of Bruce Cassidy or Laviolette, and now if it is indeed Babcock, it's a very straightforward, this is how we play technique.
And there's very little bend in that style.
And I'm not suggesting that Woodcroft or Knobloch didn't have that.
