They just thumped Canucks last night.
Pounces are going off properly.
One goes off the backboard, hits the netminder, goes in the net.
But when you're struggling, it's the opposite.
And that's what happens to a team like that, the Canucks.
So I know the Leafs aren't quite in that situation.
But I think the important thing is where do you go from here?
I think these next four or five days to the trade deadline,
Well, I guess we're down to less than that.
But whatever the days are, I think these are pretty big ones for his organization to figure out the course.
I mean, you look at it.
If I'm the Leafs, I'm probably trying to trade everyone I can, and not because I'm not saying this out of spite.
It's just...
You've got to get some assets back.
And what you're taking apart, it's not like this was an amazing thing.
This isn't a team that's gone to Stanley Cup Final after Stanley Cup Final, right?
The pieces haven't fit yet.
So I would probably be trying to unloading, trying to maybe look to find some new players.
in return and or draft picks and then same thing in the summer you have a bit more flexibility to kind of change this team because it's not they're not fitting together the way they should be and i'll i know every time i come on the show hey as you know i say this their back end doesn't work they do not work it does not work you need and i know you don't want to hear from me again but i've watched them this weekend they do not transition the puck quick enough for those forwards
And you can see it in Matthews and Nylander.
