I think that the fans here in Edmonton, um, you know, they'll they'll voice their opinion, you know, whatever they however they might feel.
But the owners have you know, in the past they have brought players in.
Um did it you know, s you know, things have happened or you know, even um you know, you think of Brabcock with now and you know, obviously not uh the same level, but you know, with with things have happened, um, you know, with with players and and you know, depending on how you feel about it, there is a history there.
So this is not a market that is not is un not uh not used to these types of people coming back to uh wi with with you know, things have happened in the past in their history.
So I think it's not like it's a fresh place that never done it.
So
Now as far as the on ice, I'd heard this might happen a bit a month ago.
And you know, I I I I know him to be a big um fast skater.
Uh so where does he fit in?
Um, you know, as you mentioned, he hasn't played a ton of high level hockey.
The Swiss league is fast.
Um, you know, I I went over there and dominated, but that we're not talking about me now.
But um you know
Um, but I think that you know, so he he he will be up to speed, but you know, playing up to speed in the Swiss league is a lot different than playing beside Con McDavid or Leon Dreisidel.
But you know, Stan Bowman made it clear when he took this job he's looking for players everywhere, whether it's free agents, whether it's trades, whether it's drafting, wherever.
He's looking everywhere for players.
And if this guy can come in and play, you know, and his top end was eighteen goals, you know, what does that look decide a at different players?
So
I don't know if if he starts in the NHL, I'm not sure where he fits 'cause the others have a lot of seam depths in that bottom six.
But you know, it's it's a shot they're w you know, they're probably worse uh worth the risk we're taking.
