Like, these guys got to be better defensive.

They have been very good defensively at times, as has the whole team.

maybe they're looking too far ahead to the Stanley Cup finals already.

They just couldn't get on track.

And their penalty kill and their defensive zone play, and even defending, was just not there.

So the details specifically I am looking for is to reduce the chances against other teams that are getting on.

They're A, self-inflicted, turnovers, bad reads on the back check, backdoor issues.

You know the guys there, and they happen to every team.

But you can reduce that by quite a bit and also your goals against go down because they have done it and they have some of the personnel that can do it.

And the challenge for that is that you at times have to sacrifice some offense.

Because this is a reality.

When your team is not scoring goals really easily, or if you don't have your best game going on, say you don't have your A game on a random Tuesday night in Utah, can the defensive structure protect you long enough to get your power play to pop one, you know, someone else scores one night, win the game 2-0?

This year, they couldn't.

This year, you know, how often do we see them get down two or three?

Then they've worked so hard to get back up.

Wouldn't it be nice if you don't have your A game just to get out 0-0 because you're defending just that much better.

And then you find two goals in the third and you walk away and you win.

And that, to me, is the detail that I'd be all over with Babcock saying, listen, when we don't have our A game, our B game is locked solid.
