What's your take on the center situation in LA Taurus reads really old school there.

Yeah, the center position is such a feast or famine thing for me.

Like if you've got one of the top guys, I think it makes sense to pay a lot of money to a center.

But like once you get into that middle grouping where you're talking about a Jared Allen or a Nick Claxton, it's like unless you're in a unique situation like the Thunder where you've got all these young draft picks that are barely making any money so you can afford to pay a Hartenstein 30 million.

I just think it gets tough.

And that's where like,

Do I think the Lakers can compete with Austin and Luka?

Yes.

But if you make one bad decision here, it could ruin this next era of Lakers basketball.

So if you get the wrong guy at center, that's where that's where I think you could handcuff yourself.

So that's where like a rookie at the late first round that can play rotation minutes alongside of Jackson Hayes.

Or if you got a Robert Williams where it's like, oh, I'm paying this guy like twelve, thirteen million dollars.

and he can legitimately be a center in my rotation, but I stay flexible for whatever the next big move is.

That's where I think you just got to be really careful.

Kessler, he is a beast.

He is an awesome rebounder, an awesome rim protector, very good passer, can showcase the ability to shoot the ball a little bit last year.

He's the one guy where I'm like, he's on my calf sheet for $35 million a year for the next four years.

I can live with that.

And yes, Utah has the inside track there.

But, you know, what if Darren Peterson ends up going number one and all of a sudden they want to draft to Bonsa and you've got a glut in the front court.
