I mean, if you look at the lead up to the Iraq war, you know, 20, 20 some years ago, there was, uh, you know, of course the, the famous WMDs Colin Powell holding up the, um, the little vial to, to make the case for war and all that turned out to be, um, lies.
And then we, you know, we, yeah, but we stayed in those wars for, uh, in Iraq for, you know, 20 something years anyway.

There was never any... I think it'd be very difficult to go back now and pin down what were the exact reasons for it.
There were all sorts of different interests, including moneyed interests, oil, weapons manufacturers, just pure neocons, and they all sort of converged and...
created this, you know, forever war over there.
I think it's a version of the same thing happening now, except it's sort of Trump variant of it, where there's no need for the, you know, making the case to the American people.
They just sort of speed run that whole thing.
But you still have all of these different interests converging on, you know, war in the Middle East, which is very good for business for a lot of people.

almost i'm almost saying i'm not going to try to figure out why trump's doing this but i'm going to try to like figure out all the different things that are happening that would just get us to a position where trump could be easily convinced to do it and i think that's basically what we're looking at today and that's also why his explanation is changing every day i would say in two weeks from now if things start getting really messy and it's clear that there's not going to be um
like a new monarch cleanly installed or something, he's going to start pointing fingers.
He's going to start blaming other people.
He's going to start sort of rewriting the US's own justification for why we're there.
He's going to say we had no part in pushing for regime change, things of that nature.
